Description

You will build reporting solutions for the Michigan Department of Education’s Office of Financial Management and DTMB grants developers.

Responsibilities

• Create repeatable Excel reports following United States Department of Education specifications.
• Develop data reporting structures to track expenditures related to COVID-19 and Elementary and Secondary Education.
• Collaborate with grants developers to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal requirements.
• Maintain and optimize database structures for complex reporting needs.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in the IT profession.
• 6+ years of experience developing systems with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 6+ years of experience writing complex stored procedures, functions, and views.
• 3+ years of experience with API and WCF web services.
• 3+ years of experience creating reports using Power BI or SSRS.
• Proficiency with SQL, C#, Python, Java, and AWS.
• Ability to work onsite in Lansing, MI on a hybrid schedule from day one.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
