Description

You will manage production support for vendor applications across Windows and UNIX environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain vendor applications within Windows and UNIX environments.
• Create and manage jobs, tasks, and processes using job schedulers.
• Monitor mission-critical applications using Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk, and log files to identify root causes.
• Execute system change control processes and follow version control practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of production support experience for vendor applications.
• Proficiency in Windows and UNIX environments.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL databases, including writing queries.
• Shell scripting skills in PowerShell, KSH, Bash, Perl, or WLS.
• Understanding of JVMs and IT system administration best practices.
• Knowledge of version control tools and practices.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience balancing development and support roles.
• Experience with Zenoss or Zenas.
• Ability to work on projects involving various business segments.
