Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software for desktop, client-server, and n-tier environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional business requirements to design programs for distributed environments.
• Translate detailed design specifications into functional computer software.
• Test, debug, and refine software to meet product requirements.
• Troubleshoot and enhance software to improve efficiency and reduce operating time.
• Write program-level and user-level documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases like Oracle 19c.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Ability to diagnose database issues and implement measures for data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Knowledge of Solaris and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Oracle Internet Development tools.
• Programming experience in Visual Basic, Java, and .NET.
• Technical knowledge of Visual Basic Script, JavaScript, JSPs, EJBs, XML, and HTML.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SSL encryption.
• Experience with Object Oriented and UML methodologies.
