Description

Translate detailed design specifications into functional software for desktop and distributed environments. Own the full lifecycle from analysis to deployment, including testing, debugging, and refactoring to improve efficiency. Prepare comprehensive program-level and user documentation. Provide customer support for custom web-based applications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and design specifications for client-server and browser-based systems.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Test, debug, and refine software to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain program-level and user-level documentation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for custom web-based applications.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases (Oracle 19g).
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database objects.
  • Experience developing custom web-based applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, JSPs, XML, and Visual Basic Script.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Oracle Internet Development tools.
  • Familiarity with Solaris and Windows operating systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Java, .NET programming languages, and Object-Oriented/UML methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IIS, SSL encryption, and other state software standards.
