Description

You will lead technical teams in the development, implementation, and maintenance of ESB and SOA environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams to execute projects, provide architectural solutions, and estimate work requirements.
• Design and develop services to wrap third-party software and expose functionality within an SOA environment.
• Create service specifications covering input/output interfaces, security, and protocol requirements.
• Establish SOA design standards for object naming, data integration, and deployment best practices.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including developer setup, build, release, and environment configuration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with WebSphere Message Broker, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), or WebSphere ESB.
• 8+ years of experience with Web Services and RESTful Services using JSON and XML.
• 8+ years of experience with XML and XMLSchema, including deep knowledge of XPath.
• Expertise in Message Sets, IIB nodes, mediations, and mediation flows.
• Proven ability to create, performance tune, and troubleshoot message flows.
• Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and governance, including service versioning.
• Experience with IBM middleware tools such as WSRR and Datapower.
• Experience working within agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with enterprise-scale integration patterns.
