Description

You will manage and support mainframe systems and COBOL programming tools within a Z/OS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support ISPF/TSO, JCL, CLIST, Dialog Manager, and Rexx.
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to XPAF, XEROX DJDE, and XEROX printers.
• Support COBOL programming software tools including PANVALET, TELON, and IBM’s Linkage Editors.
• Participate in an on-call rotation providing after-hours, weekend, and holiday support, arriving on-site within one hour of notification.
• Communicate technical information clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Z/OS, specifically ISPF/TSO, JCL, CLIST, Dialog Manager, and Rexx.
• 3+ years of experience with XPAF, XEROX DJDE, and XEROX printers.
• 3+ years of experience with COBOL programming, PANVALET, TELON, and IBM’s Linkage Editors.
• Ability to provide on-site support in Springfield, IL during on-call shifts.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of total experience in mainframe environments.
• Experience with complex printer driver configurations and XEROX DJDE protocols.
• Proven track record in on-call incident response and resolution.
