Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework, with a focus on C# and SQL.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using .NET and C#.
• Collaborate with team members to build new features and enhance existing applications.
• Create ad hoc programs and reports as requested by management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware application issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for iSeries systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET.
• Experience with SQL databases, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Strong understanding of structured software design and object-oriented programming.
• Experience or exposure to React front-end technologies.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an Associate degree with two years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with transportation industry applications.
