You will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web services and batch business applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze web services and batch applications to ensure functional alignment.
• Lead troubleshooting and analysis of assigned system problems.
• Propose and implement technical solutions for system issues.
• Code, test, and promote solutions meeting specific user requirements.
• Provide daily and weekly status updates to the development manager.

Required Skills

• 8 years of development with Micro Focus Visual COBOL on Windows Server 2019/2022, including batch and IIS environments.
• 5 years of experience writing complex queries using SQL for Oracle and MS SQL DB.
• 4 years of development using Visual Studio 2019/2022, including debugger proficiency.
• 4 years of application programming against RDBMS (Oracle, SQL).
• 2 years of IIS configuration and setup.
• 1 year of Microsoft C# .NET development.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline with 8 years of experience, or a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Certified Visual Basic Developer, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), or Micro Focus OES Certified Professional.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Public Sector experience.
