Description

You will lead the development of an advanced neuroimaging data repository and interactive web applications for complex neuroscience data.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2-3 junior programmers by assigning and reviewing programming tasks.
• Translate UX designs into functional search pages and build interactive web interfaces.
• Develop both front-end and back-end components for medical image management.
• Identify and fix programming bugs across the entire application stack.
• Build visual, interactive web pages for archiving and distributing neuroimaging data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive systems development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, including Servlets and JSP.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including jQuery and AJAX.
• Expertise in HTML/HTML5 and CSS 2/3 with a focus on responsive design.
• Experience with MySQL and SQL.
• Knowledge of JSTL.
• Experience working within Linux and Tomcat environments.
• Ability to build interfaces with minimal reliance on 3rd-party libraries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling complex medical imaging data such as MRI or CT scans.
