Description

You will design, code, and implement complex business applications across desktop, client-server, and n-tier environments. You translate functional requirements into software, debug, and refine solutions to meet product specifications. You maintain program-level and user-level documentation and enhance existing systems to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify complex business application programs independently or within a team.
• Translate functional business requirements and design specifications into functional software.
• Test, debug, and refine software to ensure it meets product requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program-level and user-level documentation.
• Enhance existing software architectures to improve efficiency and reduce operating time.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, JSPs, EJBs, XML, and HTML.
• Experience with Visual Basic, Java, and .NET programming languages.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Oracle Internet Development tools.
• Experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Competency in Windows and SOLARIS operating systems.
• Understanding of Object Oriented and UML methodologies.
• Familiarity with Visual Basic Script.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).
• Experience with Secure Socket Layers (SSL) for data encryption and decryption.
