You configure, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation and security systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Milestone Systems XProtect video surveillance platforms.
• Integrate and manage Niagara 4 building automation systems for HVAC, access control, and energy monitoring.
• Deploy and support lighting control systems, including commissioning, zoning, and scheduling for platforms like GE Current Daintree or Wattstopper/Nlight.
• Design and oversee low voltage cabling installation for security, automation, and lighting systems.
• Collaborate with IT, facilities, and security teams to ensure seamless system integration and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Milestone Systems (XProtect VMS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Niagara 4 framework and Tridium-based systems.
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems, structured cabling, PoE, and device connectivity.
• Familiarity with lighting control platforms such as GE Current Daintree, Wattstopper, or similar.
• Basic networking knowledge: IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and switch configuration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, riser diagrams, and network schematics.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with Network Infrastructure and SSRS.
