Description

Lead large-scale cloud migration programs for telecommunications applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end GCP cloud migration programs, covering planning, execution, delivery, and post-migration stabilization.
• Define migration strategy, scope, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and governance frameworks to ensure secure and compliant migrations.
• Ensure interoperability with legacy systems post-migration and support operational readiness.
• Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience managing complex cloud transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on understanding of GCP architecture: Compute Engine, Virtual Private Cloud, and Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Strong knowledge of cloud migration strategies: Lift-and-shift, Re-platforming, and Re-architecting.
• Experience with governance, risk management, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS platforms and/or Network applications.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Proven experience managing GCP migration programs within the telecommunications domain.
