Description

You will act as a Product Owner within the Sales, Underwriting, and Producer Agile Release Train to transform user experiences for Group Insurance clients.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to decompose Program Epic requirements into actionable features.
• Create detailed user stories with accurate descriptions and clear acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog to ensure delivery of maximum business value.
• Lead Product Owner ceremonies including PI Planning, grooming, and demos.
• Collaborate with Solution and System Architects to discuss design solutions and assess technical impacts.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of technology project experience.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale IT application delivery and quality engineering in matrixed environments.
• Experience with requirement gathering and user story management.
• Ability to work with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and System Architects.
• Understanding of architecture patterns.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
• Capability to manage scope, mitigate risk, and articulate technical tradeoffs.
• Ability to work Eastern Time (EST) with on-shore, near-shore, and off-shore members.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Science and Technology, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• MBA degree.
• Experience within the Sales and Underwriting domains of Group Insurance.
