Description

You will act as a Product Owner for the Sales, Underwriting, and Producer Agile Release Train, transforming user experiences for Group Insurance clients.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to decompose Program Epic requirements into actionable features.
• Create detailed user stories with accurate descriptions and clear acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog to ensure delivery of maximum business value.
• Lead Product Owner ceremonies including PI Planning, grooming, and demos.
• Negotiate and manage scope to ensure team commitments are met within the prescribed Program Increment.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of technology project experience.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale IT application delivery and quality engineering.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to lead prioritization for delivery teams based on stakeholder engagement.
• Strong skills in user story management and scope management.
• Experience working with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and System Architects.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and resolve conflicts.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for all levels of stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Technology, MIS, or Computer Science.
• MBA degree.
• Experience in Sales and Underwriting domains within Group Insurance.
