Description

You will lead technical design and implementation for QSR and Retail POS systems and their integrated ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Drive sound system design and implementation through hands-on development to ensure performance and availability.
• Lead technical investigations, provide cost estimates, and support architectural decisions.
• Manage hardware integrations including payment terminals, scanners, and other POS peripherals.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of POS upstream and downstream integrations.
• Analyze complex issues and identify opportunities through data from multiple sources.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in the QSR and Retail industry with deep POS functional knowledge.
• Proficiency in C# .NET application development, including Web API and WCF services.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms (K3s, GKE), Docker, and containerized application management.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS internals, WIM imaging, PXE/BIOS/UEFI workflows, and system provisioning.
• Experience with image creation using MDT/SCCM and deployment via WDS/IPXE.
• Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell and shell scripting.
• Solid networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, domain controllers, and switch-level concepts.
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces including USB/serial/parallel ports and RAID storage configurations.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and DevSecOps principles.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, systemd, and basic administration.
• Experience in application and production support environments following ITIL frameworks.
