Description

You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of body closure projects from concept through production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams for product launches.
• Oversee the design and development of body closure components to meet OEM specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external supplier relationships, monitoring performance for quality and cost efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks while ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in automotive engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of body closure systems (doors, hoods, tailgates), materials, and assembly techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically CATIA and Siemens NX.
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and drive solutions focused on cost, quality, and schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior management and suppliers.

Preferred Skills

• Master of Science Degree in Engineering.
• Experience with FEA and other simulation tools.
