Description

You will own the technical direction and execution of complex substation, solar/wind farm, and battery storage projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and schedule work for junior engineers, designers, and CAD operators on your assigned team.
• Act as the Customer's Point of Contact to manage project satisfaction and plan future business needs.
• Direct project design, including performing engineering calculations and using computer design software.
• Prepare complex project documents such as specifications and bid documents, and review full plan sets for accuracy.
• Supervise work and assist in training division Project Engineers I and II.

Required Skills

• Five to ten years of applicable engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer status.
• Proficiency in physical layout design, protection/control design, and relay settings programming.
• Experience with substation commissioning and relay testing.
• Knowledge of Solar/Wind Farm, Battery Storage, and utility interconnection engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
