Description

You will manage rainwater and drought plans for municipalities in the East region, including Alken, Heusden-Zolder, Kortrijk, Hasselt, and Houthalen-Helchteren.

Responsibilities

• Draw up, monitor, and approve rainwater and drought plans.
• Lead and supervise technical projects within the East region.
• Apply project management methodologies to oversee municipal planning processes.
• Navigate technical environments and roles specific to water management projects.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and supervising projects.
• Master or Bachelor degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Dutch language proficiency at European CEFRL level C2.
• Direct experience with rainwater and drought plans.
• Proficiency with blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of project management terminology, organization, and processes.
• Experience working in business contexts with more than 5,000 users.
• Familiarity with the specific municipalities in the East region.
