Description

You will manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of facility systems across multiple sites within the RTP Hub.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building functionality for laboratories, including HVAC, power systems, cold storage, RODI water, air compressors, and vacuum pumps.
• Perform daily site walkthroughs and functional checks on all critical utilities and major systems.
• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to investigate issues and execute technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, document findings, and report status updates to the Facilities & Engineering team.
• Support capital project delivery by participating in planning meetings and providing technical recommendations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in an Engineering or Facilities role.
• Experience managing building utilities, HVAC, and BMS systems.
• Previous experience working within a pharmaceutical or laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributor within a team.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience utilizing CMMS systems, CAD, or other design programs.
