Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 5–10 projects simultaneously through planning, design, construction, and closeout phases
  • Coordinate with third-party engineering consultants for project design execution
  • Develop and manage project scopes of work
  • Review engineering estimates, schedules, drawings, and project deliverables
  • Support substation, line, and infrastructure capital improvement projects
  • Coordinate internal and external engineering disciplines throughout project execution
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance
  • Participate in construction support activities and field verification visits
  • Assist with contract management and engineering deliverable tracking
  • Ensure compliance with utility standards, engineering requirements, and project documentation processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • OR
  • Engineering degree from a non-ABET accredited program plus Professional Engineering (PE) License
  • 5–7 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Project Management capacity
  • Experience managing complex projects from planning through construction completion
  • Background in utilities, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external consultants
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and engineering deliverables
  • Experience reviewing drawings, project scopes, and construction estimates
  • Familiarity with:
  • Primavera P6
  • SAP
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering background preferred but not required
  • Experience with:
  • Unifier
  • ProjectWise
  • Document control systems
  • Knowledge of project management principles and contract management practices
  • Utility or substation project experience is highly preferred
