Description

Manage hardware engineering, documentation, and global commissioning for automation systems on maritime and offshore installations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware engineering, project documentation production, and application development.
• Manage hardware ordering for project deliveries and report progress regularly.
• Execute engineering work following established plans, procedures, checklists, and quality standards.
• Lead the test, verification, installation, and commissioning of integrated automation systems worldwide.
• Perform technical sales support, survey activities, feed studies, and assist with class approval tasks.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in hardware engineering and DCS commissioning on LNG, FSRU, FPSO, or offshore production units.
• Experience in field commissioning within maritime or offshore oil & gas environments.
• Hands-on experience with upgrade, retrofit, refit, and conversion solutions for offshore, energy, LNG, merchant, or naval segments.
• Proficiency in order management using large ERP systems, preferably Dynamics Ax.
• Strong understanding of automation, gas, and vessel systems.
• Ability to travel overseas on short notice based on project requirements.
• Effective communication skills in verbal and written English.
