Description

Manage Greenfield and Brownfield plant construction projects from initial RFP through to production.

Responsibilities

• Support plant construction by managing the transition from RFQ/RFP/RFI stages to full production.
• Develop and maintain new plant layouts using AutoCAD 2D, integrating process and logistics equipment while optimizing material flow.
• Validate equipment capacities and generate detailed installation, commissioning, and ramp-up schedules.
• Collaborate with contractors on building and site design, including the procurement of necessary permits and plant utilities.
• Contribute to equipment design reviews by providing feedback on manufacturing best practices and US regulation compliance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical).
• 10+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D for technical reporting and layout design.
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis (RCA) and data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
• Advanced skills in MS Office 365, including Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
• Experience managing simultaneous priorities and coordinating schedules via Outlook and Google Calendar.
• Ability to use Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or WebEx for cross-functional collaboration.
• Technical math skills for solving real-world engineering problems.

Preferred Skills

• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 and Bluebeam.
• Experience with lithium-ion battery technology.
