Description

You will support Greenfield and Brownfield plant construction from RFP through to production.

Responsibilities

• Execute new plant layouts using AutoCAD 2D, integrating process and logistics equipment with a focus on material and people flow.
• Manage equipment capacity validation and generate installation, commissioning, and ramp-up schedules.
• Collaborate with contractors on building and site design, including the procurement of necessary construction permits.
• Lead the procurement support for plant utilities such as water, electricity, and natural gas.
• Contribute to equipment design reviews by providing feedback on manufacturing best practices and US regulation compliance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving techniques.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, including Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
• Ability to apply technical math and statistics to real-world problems.
• Experience managing contractors through the RFP process to equipment commissioning.
• Competency with Outlook, Google Calendar, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
• Ability to quickly acquire technical knowledge regarding lithium-ion batteries.

Preferred Skills

• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 and Bluebeam.
• Experience with new plant design, build, and commissioning.
