Description

You will own the design, configuration, and commissioning of control systems for engineering projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop I/O lists, cause and effect diagrams, control system panel designs, and network architectures.
• Configure, program, and test PLC/HMI applications to ensure safe system operation.
• Prepare project documentation including Factory and Site Acceptance Test Protocols (FAT/SAT), Operations Manuals, and Functional Design Specifications.
• Perform FATs/SATs to demonstrate hardware and software compliance with customer specifications.
• Support loop checks, system startup, and commissioning activities while troubleshooting technical issues.

Required Skills

• BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering roles related to control systems.
• Strong understanding of control and instrumentation systems.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI configuration.
• Ability to design electrical schematics and network architectures.
• Proficiency with control system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and vendor data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing customer training programs for system operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety standards, industry best practices, and quality systems.
