Description

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of small to medium capital projects, including process equipment installation and facility improvements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining scope, cost, schedule, quality, and business objectives.
• Develop and evaluate project plans, cost estimates, schedules, and capital expenditure requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish priorities, timelines, and execution strategies.
• Manage procurement, construction support, commissioning, and qualification activities.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, GMP requirements, safety regulations, and building codes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience managing capital projects, including scope development, cost estimation, and construction oversight.
• Experience managing equipment installations, preferably new process equipment.
• Knowledge of process equipment and systems (tanks, reactors, pumps, piping, instrumentation).
• Ability to develop and interpret P&IDs.
• Strong project management skills with cost, schedule, and quality control expertise.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with solvent delivery tank farms, tank sizing, and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with FDA cGMP, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.
• Experience with commissioning and qualification activities, including URS and protocol execution.
