Description

You will lead an engineering team focused on electrification and high voltage systems for heavy duty vehicles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage an engineering team by providing coaching, performance feedback, and individual development plans.
• Direct the design, validation, and troubleshooting of complex electrical and electronic systems for high voltage applications.
• Own project execution, including schedules, budgets, and the delivery of technical plans and computation methods.
• Drive continuous improvement by researching and updating standard engineering methodologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal functions and external suppliers to ensure component reliability and manufacturability.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems up to 1,000 Volts.
• Proven experience designing high voltage electrical powertrain architectures.
• Experience with specification development, integration, verification, and validation test plans for electro-mechanical systems.
• Technical expertise in power electronics, electrical machines, and high voltage energy storage.
• Ability to present and defend technical decisions to engineering leadership and customers.
• Proficiency in engineering design and complex calculations.

Preferred Skills

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with programming languages and controls software.
• Knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN) and SAE J1939 protocols.
