Description

You will own the design and engineering execution for HV/EHV substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed engineering designs for HV/EHV substations (AIS/GIS).
• Prepare single-line diagrams, layout drawings, GA drawings, and control & relay schematics.
• Perform equipment sizing and selection for transformers, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, isolators, surge arresters, and busbars.
• Design and calculate grounding/earthing systems.
• Review protection schemes and relay coordination studies.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in electrical substation engineering.
• Strong expertise in HV/EHV substation design (33kV and above).
• Experience with both AIS and GIS substation designs.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of protection systems, SCADA, and control systems.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, and IS standards.
• Solid understanding of the EPC project lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
