Description

You will translate functional requirements into software algorithms and models, integrating hardware and software components. You will own the verification and validation processes for electronic modules and analyze hardware design failure modes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate text-based functional requirements into software algorithms and models.
• Develop and apply software verification and validation processes.
• Analyze hardware design and failure modes within electronic modules.
• Apply knowledge of vehicle serial data communications.
• Write and comprehend software/hardware requirements.

Required Skills

• BS in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architectures and memory technologies.
• Proficiency in programming and software/hardware requirements.
• Knowledge of testing tools and processes.
• Analytical ability to solve unusual and difficult problems.
• Knowledge of vehicle serial data communications.

Preferred Skills

• DFMEA training.
• Knowledge of software algorithm design and software architecture.
