Description

Manage capital investments for fixed assets through the full project lifecycle in Waverly, IA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams of salaried and hourly stakeholders to oversee capital investments.
• Execute projects from initial conceptual studies through formal closeout, including asset relocation and optimization.
• Facilitate change within a manufacturing environment and manage equipment and construction purchasing contracts.
• Ensure compliance with permitting, regulatory requirements for food safety, and hygienic/sanitary design standards.
• Perform CAPEX budgeting, preparation, and financial analysis using the NIMT tool.

Required Skills

• Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a technical field with a project engineering background.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Experience with basic AutoCAD and Visio.
• Experience with plant design, construction, and equipment purchasing.
• Knowledge of 3A standards for hygienic and sanitary design.
