Description

Prepare detailed estimates for capital construction and plant maintenance projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare multi-discipline detailed estimates using Sage for capital construction and plant maintenance.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals.
• Assign estimate deliverables to third-party A/E firms and oversee weekly progress meetings.
• Review project team data and coordinate RFIs to ensure estimate accuracy.
• Evaluate A/E estimates against AACE Industry Standards to ensure quality.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Sage Estimating.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• 2+ years of experience working in a utility environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and manage third-party A/E firms.
• Ability to travel to project site locations as required.

Preferred Skills

• Maintain a database of third-party estimates and related quality metrics.
