Description

Lead construction and safety execution for large-scale industrial projects, including office renovations and HVAC renewals in Troy, MO.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project schedules and budgets, delivering regular management reports on cost, schedule, and safety metrics.
• Develop detailed user criteria documentation and scopes of work for architectural/engineering and construction procurement.
• Direct project engineers in reviewing specifications, utility standards, and drawing coordination.
• Monitor contractor performance, site progress, and quality control procedures to ensure strict adherence to plans.
• Evaluate and negotiate change directives and orders while validating vendor payment applications against actual progress.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of construction project management experience handling multiple simultaneous projects.
• Proven track record managing individual project sizes of $55M or greater.
• Background in industrial automotive manufacturing facility construction or similar industrial environments.
• Experience managing teams of project engineers, construction coordinators, and safety personnel.
• Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to utilize AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Visio.
• Ability to wear full PPE, including steel toe/composite work boots, high viz vest, safety glasses, and a hard hat.

Preferred Skills

• Technical knowledge of project scheduling and estimating.
• General understanding of construction safety programs and requirements.
