Description

You will oversee IT projects from planning through closing, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedules, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure outputs meet required standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all project activities, decisions, and changes.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, specifically managing large, multi-stream, and complex projects.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or VITA PM certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile frameworks.
• Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) PM certification.
