Description

You manage multiple simultaneous software development projects and maintenance activities from planning through implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project activities, preparing all required documentation and artifacts.
• Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, WBS elements, milestones, and critical path activities.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, and budgets while managing change requests and forecasting expenditures.
• Direct staff members and ensure all project approvals comply with established methodology standards.
• Conduct detailed requirements development, functional design documentation, system test definition, and use case development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, specifically overseeing software development life cycle (SDLC) projects.
• Proven experience with data migration and data integration, including mainframe environments.
• Ability to manage 1–4 simultaneous projects or maintenance activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to research and mitigate project risks.
• Expertise in MS Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English.
• Ability to execute tasks and prioritize effectively in high-pressure environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry or with RRC Oil and Gas systems.
• Background in policy and procedure development or compliance and enforcement projects.
