Description

You manage IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to established methodologies and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets using the client's Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity).
• Monitor, control, and communicate project progress across cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.
• Develop and maintain key PMM deliverables, including the Project Charter, Schedule, Budget, Status Reports, and Risk Plans.
• Facilitate and enforce the Change Management process, ensuring all scope, schedule, or budget deviations receive approval.
• Review vendor contracts to actively manage deliverables and ensure adherence to approval procedures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, adhering to industry standards.
• 7+ years experience establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, change requests, and risk logs.
• 7+ years experience developing and delivering project status reports.
• 7+ years experience using project portfolio management systems, specifically Clarity.
• 5+ years advanced working knowledge of MS Project.
• 5+ years experience handling varied stakeholders and system owners across departments.
• 5+ years experience overseeing technical teams involving system architecture and SaaS integrations.
• 5+ years experience managing multi-vendor environments in a government setting.
• 5+ years possessing a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
