Description

You will lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of complex IT projects within a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project lifecycles, establishing strategic roadmaps, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Direct day-to-day operations and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure deliverables comply with state, federal, and agency standards.
• Identify project risks and coordinate resolution efforts with leadership.
• Manage project budgets by tracking full costs and entering actuals into tracking tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with data management solutions such as data warehouses, data lakes, or data analytics/business intelligence.
• Deep understanding of the Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency leading Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with web-based J2EE development environments.
• Proven ability to develop clear, concise project documentation and work plans.
• Expertise in budget tracking and resource management in functional and matrixed environments.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Healthcare industry, specifically Public Health or Health and Human Services agencies.
• Background managing multi-agency or multi-IT department initiatives.
