Description

Lead enterprise-level projects through their entire lifecycle, from initiation to completion.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed project planning, oversight, and tracking using established methodologies.
• Manage scope, budget, and timelines to ensure all contract specifications are met.
• Maintain risk and issue logs, providing analysis and resolution plans for major obstacles.
• Report project performance metrics and status updates to QAT following DIR guidelines.
• Monitor project quality and costs to ensure deliverables meet acceptable standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Direct experience managing Major Information Resources projects (MIRP).
• Proficiency with DIR’s Texas Project Delivery Framework, templates, and tools.
• Experience following DIR’s QAT best practices and review processes.
• Ability to prepare QAT annual and quarterly reports.
• Hands-on experience with MIRP and QAT frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology Project Management, CIS, IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
