Description

Owns end-to-end project delivery and Agile team facilitation across the full software development lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent project delivery, managing scope, schedule, cost, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.
• Track and communicate project progress, velocity, and metrics to stakeholders and management.
• Remove obstacles, protect the team from interruptions, and foster continuous improvement.
• Support Product Owners with backlog management and prioritize work against business needs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management with a strong understanding of SDLC models.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience in mentoring, coaching, and team building.
• 3+ years of experience with MS Project or Project Server Subscription Edition (PSSE).
• Current PMP certification from PMI and CSM certification required.
• Expert knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices.
• Ability to analyze and document business and system processes.

Preferred Skills

• SAFe certification and hands-on experience with the SAFe framework.
• Adherence to VDOT and VITA project management practices.
