Drive consistent project delivery through the entire lifecycle, managing scope, schedule, resources, and risks while ensuring value delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.
• Track and communicate project progress regarding schedule, cost, and risk to stakeholders and management.
• Remove team obstacles, protect the team from distractions, and ensure effective collaboration with Product Owners.
• Manage the product backlog, promote continuous improvement, and report team velocity and metrics.
• Adhere to VDOT and VITA project management practices and ensure teams follow core Agile principles.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with a solid understanding of software development life cycle models.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, mentoring, coaching, and team building.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS Project or Project Server Subscription Edition (PSSE).
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
• Current Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Ability to analyze and document business and system processes.

Preferred Skills

• SAFe Certification.
• Experience with the SAFe framework.
