Description

You will manage complex technical projects within the IES Project Management Office, overseeing the full systems development life cycle from requirements definition to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, schedule, and budget, mitigating variances and risks.
• Lead project teams through the SDLC, including technical design, code development, testing, and rollout.
• Manage project risks, issues, communication plans, and interdependencies across stakeholder groups.
• Coordinate Systems Integration vendor implementations, ensuring adherence to scope and methodology.
• Facilitate meetings to clarify business and technical requirements and drive decision-making.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a PMO Project Manager.
• 7+ years of experience working on complex projects, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Domain expertise in Medicaid, Public Assistance, SNAP, or HEAP.
• Proven experience in data conversion and data modeling.
• Experience working with legacy systems and ETL teams.
• Ability to validate data quality.
• Knowledge of VBA scripting.
• Experience managing resources in a matrix management organization.
