Description

You will manage all aspects of software development projects, ensuring objectives are met within budget, time, and scope.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage formal project plans, including goals, strategy, dependencies, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Direct complex business requirements deliveries, business process re-engineering, and organizational change activities.
  • Implement formal risk mitigation plans and manage impact analysis resulting from changes in scope, budget, or schedule.
  • Control project team activities by assigning tasks, driving accountability, and providing day-to-day guidance.
  • Coordinate with high-level stakeholders, including agency executives, ITS leadership, and vendors.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of experience organizing and integrating large-scale, cross-functional IT projects.
  • 84 months of experience managing 3-5 simultaneous application development projects, including COTS and in-house builds.
  • 84 months of experience managing project execution using MS Project to track budgets, schedules, and status reports.
  • 84 months of experience working within Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies, including conducting scrum sessions.
  • 84 months of experience managing the project lifecycle within a Secure System Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) framework.
  • 84 months of experience in quality planning, end-to-end system testing, and UAT defect and metrics management.
  • 84 months of experience leading high-visibility projects for State or Federal agencies.
  • 36 months of experience implementing business process re-engineering and organizational change management.
  • Proficiency in PMBOK/PMP standards and project documentation.
