Description

You will lead IT project planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination in Annandale, VA.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into technical solutions through requirements gathering, functional design, and workflow modeling.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and product owners to manage expectations, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee vendor and contract management, including scope definition and implementation planning.
• Develop project plans, risk assessments, and status reports for senior management.
• Conduct software pilots and feasibility studies to support acquisition decisions.

Required Skills

• Six years of progressive experience in information technology and technical project management.
• At least one year of experience in a technology project oversight capacity.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience in business analysis, stakeholder management, and change management.
• Ability to manage contracts, risk, and benefit analysis.
• Knowledge of business and IT practices, trends, and technology impacts.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal laws regarding technology.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business management, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree.
• Project Management Institute certification (e.g., PMP).
• Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe).
