Description

You will manage moderate to high complexity IT projects in a state government environment, leading IT teams and overseeing technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex vendor-managed projects from inception to closure.
• Manage full project lifecycles using MS Project and SharePoint to track milestones and deliverables.
• Direct IT teams and oversee technical project delivery to ensure alignment with state government standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure project milestones are met and risks are mitigated.

Required Skills

• 7 years of experience leading projects of moderate to high complexity within the last 5 years.
• PMI certification (PMP) or equivalent is mandatory.
• 3 years of experience leading or coordinating complex vendor-managed projects.
• 10 years of experience working in state government environments.
• Hands-on experience with MS Project, SharePoint, and MS Office suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or specialized training.
• Demonstrated IT project management or equivalent IT team leadership experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and managing cloud-based applications.
• Previous experience with child welfare systems, projects, and business processes.
