Description

You will manage the MEST release process and lead IT change control management activities for the Atlanta office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, implementation, and oversight of code releases to production in accordance with Agency standards.
• Serve as Functional Lead for ServiceNow Change Management and Incident Management implementations.
• Design business processes to synchronize release management activities across multiple vendors.
• Manage Operations and Maintenance activities by creating, scheduling, and securing approvals for change requests.
• Maintain ITSM best practices to improve service levels and availability.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of ITSM processes, including Change Management, Release Management, and Service Asset and Configuration Management.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, specifically in Access Management, Change Management, and Incident Management.
• Experience with change control board activities and change request processing.
• Knowledge of the release management lifecycle and coordinating releases across multiple vendors and applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, LucidChart, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Jira and project management software development tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical staff.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification.
