Description

You will direct and coordinate project activities for the modernization of the existing environment, replacing legacy business applications with COTS or internally developed solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Track risks, manage communications, and report project status.
• Manage vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project quality adheres to PMI best practices and the Georgia Department of Labor Project Management Methodology.

Required Skills

• PMP (PMI) certification with active status.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex programs using multiple methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban).
• Recent experience in business requirements gathering and business process documentation.
• Experience managing at least two full-lifecycle agile software development projects (initiation through deployment/warranty) with teams > 10 members, holding full end-to-end PM accountability.
• Experience managing enterprise-impacting IT projects related to software application development and implementation.
• Experience collaborating with vendor partners on project solutions.
• Expert level knowledge of standard PM tools (MS Project Professional, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite).

Preferred Skills

• CSM (Scrum Alliance) certification and/or PMI-ACP certification with active status.
• Project Server/Project Online experience.
