Description

You will lead large-scale EHR application implementations and data migration projects across complex organizational structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including risk documentation, issue tracking, and contingency planning.
• Oversee vendor activities and act as the primary liaison between IT, business owners, and EHR vendors.
• Lead data migration efforts, including data mapping, data cleaning, and the development of migration strategies.
• Conduct workflow analysis and work with subject matter experts to document business processes for existing systems.
• Manage existing staff during migration activities and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing multiple large-scale projects, specifically EHR application implementations.
• Proven experience in application migration, workflow analysis, and SDLC artifact development.
• Expertise in managing data migration activities, data mapping, and data cleaning.
• Proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and InterSystems Caché Database.
• Advanced use of MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and Jira.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, devise solutions, and prepare concise technical reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and facilitate communication between all stakeholders.
• Experience using ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
• PMP Certification and familiarity with HHSC Federal State processes and documentation.
• Knowledge of global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
