Description

You lead engineering projects from initiation through completion, managing teams, budgets, and client relationships.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish project teams and create initiation documents, including detailed work scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage project implementation to ensure all work is completed according to scope and timeline.
• Maintain project status databases and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Control project costs and maximize profitability through disciplined budgeting, resource utilization, and change notices.
• Develop and evaluate project staff to support their professional growth and project success.

Required Skills

• B.S. in engineering or equivalent degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5+ years of experience in consulting engineering.
• Proven experience managing a wide range of engineering projects.
• Experience in project budgeting, pricing, and fiscal management.
• Ability to manage project staff and evaluate performance.
• Strong technical advisory and reporting capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Professional registration (PE) in states covered by the Baltimore office.
