Description

You will manage business process modeling and implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen or continuous improvement events and improvement teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and value stream mapping to eliminate waste.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and document key process requirements.
• Execute projects by setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and producing concise reports.
• Apply lean methods including 5S, total productive maintenance, flow, and error proofing.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Process Modeling and management.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from an accredited institution.
• Expert knowledge of lean methods and waste elimination.
• Proficiency in MS Visio for process mapping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint (version 2010 or higher).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project (version 2010 or higher).
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• General knowledge of public mass transit assets and operations.

Preferred Skills

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
