Description

You will lead project lifecycles from initial planning through final delivery in Chesterfield, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedules, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all outputs meet required standards and expectations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all project activities, decisions, and changes throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the IT sector.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent credential.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies for iterative delivery.
• Hands-on experience using project management tools for tracking and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under pressure.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) PM certification.
