Description

Lead technical delivery by bridging business architecture with physical solution implementation. You will translate conceptual designs into logical and physical solutions, own the grooming process from functional to technical stories, and guide teams through Level 3 development story grooming. Manage development within a trunk-based model, overseeing unit testing, functional test automation, and automated build/deploy pipelines. Present architectural changes to the governance board for approval and ensure compliance with defined metrics like code coverage. Coordinate with on-site engineers, manage customer calls, and escalate risks to senior management. Create project plans, track schedules, maintain quality documentation, and conduct audits.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business and conceptual architecture into logical and physical solution designs.
  • Own the grooming process from functional stories to technical stories.
  • Manage development within a trunk-based model, overseeing unit testing and functional test automation.
  • Present architectural changes to the governance board and ensure compliance with metrics like code coverage.
  • Create project plans, track schedules, maintain quality documentation, and conduct audits.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing event-driven microservices architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring framework.
  • Experience with N-tier Architecture (MVC, JEE) and ORM technologies.
  • Experience designing cloud-native applications for OpenShift PaaS.
  • Proficiency with Agile Development and management tools such as Version One.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, JUnit, and Artifactory.
  • Ability to manage continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Basic Unix knowledge and Unix Shell scripting experience.
  • Experience with Rules Management Systems such as Drools or IBM Lombardi.

Preferred Skills

  • Domain experience in the Travel industry.
