Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support with the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
- Identify and ensure that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
- Maintain effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed project plans, project execution plans and other essential project documentation.
- Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team throughout all project phases.
- Prepare tender documents, manage tender process and conduct thorough evaluation of submissions.
- Monitor and advise upon project finances, coordinate cost reports with cost consultants regularly.
- Manage the flow of project information between clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Carry out site inspections, prepare progress reports and manage project milestone initiatives.
- Take a leading role in interfacing with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Manage permitting processes, statutory matters, submissions and approvals for project compliance.
- Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report to management.
- Ensure prompt client invoicing and monitor project financial status using internal accounting systems.
Experience Required: 2-15 years' experience in project management with knowledge of main project management concepts, tools and techniques. Experience leading project management commissions for small to medium sized general construction projects of low to medium complexity.
Education: Degree in Project Management or equivalent
